I have given some personal information, what should I do?
If you have given any personal information to fraudsters, in either a lottery scam, Nigerian 419 scam, or if you have responded to a phishing email, you may be at risk of Identity Theft. At the minimum, you should check your credit report to check for any unauthorized transactions, and place a fraud alert on your credit file. You should also check our ID Theft section of our website, to see what else you may need to do.
